My Little Nicholas' Birthday Card

Happy Birthday today to my little man, Nicholas! He is 7 years old today and
what a young man he is turning into. He is fun, silly, giving, thoughtful and so kind.
Okay, here is the details of my card today:
I used my Owl Builder Punch (#118074), punched out 6 owls, 2 in each color. I used 1 of the punched owls and cut out the feet to make arms and hands. I added googly eyes( some retired product that was laying around and had to get used up). I used my Stripes Embossing Folder(#123128) and if you look closely you can see how it is crisscrossed. When I embossed the cardstock, I turned it and re-ran it through the big shot to give it a whole new look. I then used the Happy Birthday from "Bring on the Cake" stamp set (w#128490/c#121958) and colored it in using our Many Marvelous Markers in Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and Old Olive. I then cut out a Night of Navy piece with the Apothecary Accents Framelits Die (#127003), added some (retired) white brads to the ends. The base of the card is Night of Navy with a layer of Tempting Turquoise. Of course I used my dimensionals to pop up my little monsters and my Happy Birthday. I hope he likes it!!

So, this is what my kids have been into making recently. They keep making these cool rubber band bracelets and necklaces for friends, family, each other and even Mommy's friends! They are super fun and super cool with so many ways to make them using the loom that comes in the kit, using 2 pencils or using just your fingers.

Come like Over The Moon Beads in Cambridge, New York. They sell theses great kids bands to make. Here is the link to their Facebook page..... https://www.facebook.com/pages/Over-The-Moon-Beads/135094491737

Joyful Christmas Wishes card

What a beautiful but simple card. It looks more complicated than it really is, I hope you give it a try! I started out with a Very Vanilla base, added a layer of our Brushed Gold cardstock, yes, we have gold(#102935), then a strip of our 1" Cherry Cobbler Stitched Edge Ribbon from the holiday catalog(#132135) and I used the words from the Joyful Christmas stamp set(w#131802/c#131805), embossed in cherry cobbler embossing powder(#122949). I then used our White Vellum card stock(#101856)and stamped my poinsettia(2 times) with our gold embossing powder(#109129). I cut the larger one out then the smaller parts of the poinsettia with my paper snips(#103579-a MUST have!), popped it up with dimensionals(104430, added candy dots in regals(#130932)and a basic jewel(#119246). Thank you for stopping in!

An Anniversary Card

Today is my lovely parents 49th Wedding Anniversary. Yes, I said it, 49 years, WOW! What an accomplishment. My mom loves all my stamping projects and I just love when she comes over so I can take her down to my craft room to "show" her all that I am working on or all that I have made. She has always been so supportive of all that I do. So, here is the special anniversary card I made for them to help them celebrate. I saw someone once dot the birds form the Bird Punch with their White Gel Pen and had to give it a try. So, Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad! Enjoy.
Thank you for stopping in.

Autumn Pumpkins

Do you ever just need a quick table décor? Well, here are easy ones you can make with the kids. I used Stampin' Up!s Sweater Weather DSP, Old Olive Ribbon, Brads, Autumn Accents Die, Stampin' Trimmer, Paper Piercer, Glue Dots and scraps of Old Olive Cardstock.

For the big pumpkin: Cut your 12x12 DSP in strips( 15)of 1" or 3/4" depending upon what size pumpkin you would like. Pierce a hole into each end with your paper piercer, add your ribbon then brad and each cut piece(be sure to save some extra for the top or "stem" of the pumpkin. Loop them around and through to the brad and close up the brad. Tie a knot in the ribbon, add your leaves with glue dots and some scrap cardstock using your bone folder "curl" them. And there you have it...an easy table decoration!

Baby Boy Shadow Box

Recently I had a table at a craft fair. On my table I had a few shadow boxes I had made over the summer and when one customer had stressed that she LOVED them, she was really looking for baby boy colors and the babies will actually be twins! Well, this is my special order I made for her. I played around and tried to work with as much "chevron" as I could with blues and an off color of green. I used Stampin' Up!'s Coastal Cabana, Soft Sky, Tempting Turquoise, Smoky Slate and Pear Pizzazz. There are quite a few products that are retired, but, I really didn't have new inventory that screamed at me that it should be used in this for a baby boys. I hope you like it!

Here is a Fall Banner we made in one of my classes. I sponged all the pieces, used the Autumn Accents Die by Stampin' Up! for the leaves and added lots of embellishments. I multipurpose glued the pieces of cardstock to some bar coasters I had from a previous project. It makes a great gift or a beautiful home décor for your house. Enjoy and thanks for stopping in.
